Aegean minimalism meets interior design excellence at Odera, Tinos’ first luxury hotel. A new Greek destination for design and architecture lovers.
Odera Hotel in Tinos: Where Interior Design Shapes Luxury Hospitality.
Tucked into the rugged cliffs of Tinos, Odera isn’t just the island’s first luxury boutique hotel it’s a case study in contextual interior architecture. A member of Marriott’s Autograph Collection, Odera blends modern Aegean elegance with the island’s spiritual and vernacular heritage, offering design-conscious travelers a refined, immersive experience.
A Vision Rooted in Place
Developed by Tethys and designed by architect Panos Nikolaidis, Odera is more than a hotel: it’s a sensitive architectural intervention into Tinos’ dramatic landscape. Built into terraced levels carved from the cliffside, the structure integrates with its environment through scale, material, and rhythm.
Studio Bonarchi’s Interior Design Narrative
The interiors, curated by Studio Bonarchi (also behind Anandes in Mykonos), articulate a quiet yet powerful dialogue between heritage and modernity. Their approach emphasizes natural materials, local craftsmanship, and a refined palette of white Tinian stone, raw marble, soft woods, and traditional plaster finishes. The spatial layout is enhanced by light, depth, and archways that nod to Byzantine forms while staying firmly contemporary.
Every detail from custom furniture to textured textiles celebrates simplicity, restraint, and a deep understanding of context.
Design-Led Hospitality with a View
All 77 rooms and suites feature panoramic views of the Aegean Sea, with a direct connection to the outdoors via private or semi-private pools. Signature suites extend onto expansive terraces, offering open-air living designed for privacy and reflection. The 75-meter main pool, aligned with the horizon, reinforces the architectural language of linearity and fluidity.
A Spatial Experience Beyond the Rooms
From the Eos restaurant curated by Chef Dimitris Skarmoutsos to the beachfront Nǒsti Bar, every space is thoughtfully designed to create a sense of place. The spa, using local minerals, mirrors the calming tones and textures of the hotel’s design ethos.
Odera: A New Landmark for Interior Architecture in the Cyclades
With its minimalist design, respect for cultural memory, and commitment to architectural integrity, Odera establishes itself not just as a luxury retreat, but as a design destination in its own right ideal for lovers of architecture, interiors, and authentic Greek aesthetics.
