The Lollipop collection, born from the tender imagination of Boris Klimek, tells a story as sweet and nostalgic as a childhood treat. A designer celebrated with numerous awards, Klimek infuses his creations with poetry, playfulness, and a touch of dreamlike wonder. With Lollipop, he sculpts light like a delicate memory—formless glass plates where colors swirl and dance with almost magical softness.
Each pendant light—offered in three shapes and five vibrant hues—along with the matching table lamp, becomes an invitation to marvel. These luminous objects transform spaces much like candy brightens a quiet afternoon: with simple, joyful delight.
Lasvit is a Czech design and glassmaking company founded in 2007 by Leon Jakimič, a native of Liberec in Northern Bohemia—a region with a rich, centuries-old glassmaking tradition. Coming from a family with six generations of glassmakers, Jakimič studied economics at Loyola Marymount University in California and later earned an MBA in Hong Kong. His vision was clear: to merge the historical craftsmanship of Bohemian glass with bold, contemporary design.
The name Lasvit combines the Czech words “láska” (love) and “svit” (light), encapsulating the brand’s mission to bring love and light into every creation.

The new series of light sculptures named Ambra combines volumes of ancient stones and aluminium. Centerpiece is the Mexican “Toba volcánica” stone that consists of minerals, glass and volcanic debris ejected one million years ago during severe eruptions. Fragments in the geometrical surfaces are testament to these explosions and movement.
The contrast between porous textures and smooth dark red underlines the studios contemporary approach on traditional materials and craft. The connecting components between the sculptural stone elements and the aluminium parts originate from an intensive research of linking unique handmade shapes with industrial parts.
