Description

Inspired by an ancestral Egyptian chair, this creation is reborn like an echo from the sands of time.
Bower Studios sought to infuse it with the silent magic of a mythical civilization, between mystery and light.
The wood becomes an illusion, sometimes solid, sometimes fluid, shaped by lines that deceive the eye and awaken the mind. The form plays with the material, blurring the boundaries between weight and lightness, strength and finesse.
Thus, a haunting piece is born, where past and present intertwine in a sacred dance.

Bower is a New York studio where the mirror becomes poetry, revealing shadows, light, and the self.
Through a free and sensory approach, its creations question our perception of the world while sculpting the unexpected into everyday life.
From its dreamlike mirrors to its delicately designed furniture and lighting, each piece is an invitation to wonder.
Like the garden bird whose name it bears, Bower carefully composes refuge objects imbued with instinctive beauty and delicacy.
Led by designers Danny Giannella and Tammer Hijazi, the studio turns reflection into a window onto the imagination.

The new series of light sculptures named Ambra combines volumes of ancient stones and aluminium. Centerpiece is the Mexican “Toba volcánica” stone that consists of minerals, glass and volcanic debris ejected one million years ago during severe eruptions. Fragments in the geometrical surfaces are testament to these explosions and movement.

The contrast between porous textures and smooth dark red underlines the studios contemporary approach on traditional materials and craft. The connecting components between the sculptural stone elements and the aluminium parts originate from an intensive research of linking unique handmade shapes with industrial parts.
