Découvrez cette applique murale en céramique en terre cuite fabriquée à la main à partir d'argile récupérée auprès du potier. il est ensuite cuit dans un four à fosse. Ce luminaire est co-créé avec la potière Houda.
La céramique est montée sur un crochet fixé au mur. Des variations sont à prévoir, chaque pièce diffère en couleur, taille, forme et décorations en raison de sa nature artisanale. memòri parle de simplicité, d'imperfections et d'acceptation des « défauts ».
Chaque pièce est cuite à feu ouvert, ce qui donne des résultats inattendus et surprenants, notamment des traces de fumée sur certaines pièces. Cela signifie que chaque pièce est unique et ne peut être dupliquée.
Fabriqué à la main dans les montagnes du Rif, au Maroc - par Houda et Naïma.

The new series of light sculptures named Ambra combines volumes of ancient stones and aluminium. Centerpiece is the Mexican “Toba volcánica” stone that consists of minerals, glass and volcanic debris ejected one million years ago during severe eruptions. Fragments in the geometrical surfaces are testament to these explosions and movement.
The contrast between porous textures and smooth dark red underlines the studios contemporary approach on traditional materials and craft. The connecting components between the sculptural stone elements and the aluminium parts originate from an intensive research of linking unique handmade shapes with industrial parts.
