Le coussin confortable du fauteuil Nomad est conçu pour épouser la forme du corps et l'envelopper, tout en s'étalant sur les accoudoirs et en se fondant dans la large courbe du dossier. Sa designer Monica Armani a utilisé ce qu'elle appelle le « teck noble » pour sa chaleur, sa douceur et sa robustesse.
Les pieds fins et les accoudoirs recouverts de tissu confèrent à ce fauteuil une silhouette élégante que le coussin astucieusement cousu rend merveilleusement confortable. Nomad, comme son nom l'indique, aura fière allure où qu'il soit, seul ou dans un salon de jardin.
La créatrice italienne Monica Armani
Monica Armani est née à Trente en 1964. Fille de l'architecte Marcello Armani, célèbre représentant du mouvement rationaliste italien, elle s'occupe d'architecture, de design d'intérieur et de design de produits. Ses créations se distinguent par l'élégance des formes, recherchées et pures, et par une vocation fonctionnelle marquée.

The new series of light sculptures named Ambra combines volumes of ancient stones and aluminium. Centerpiece is the Mexican “Toba volcánica” stone that consists of minerals, glass and volcanic debris ejected one million years ago during severe eruptions. Fragments in the geometrical surfaces are testament to these explosions and movement.
The contrast between porous textures and smooth dark red underlines the studios contemporary approach on traditional materials and craft. The connecting components between the sculptural stone elements and the aluminium parts originate from an intensive research of linking unique handmade shapes with industrial parts.
