Pill - Floor Lamp by Square in Circle
Always the sense and concern for geometry, this floor lamp with a rounded marble base, brushed brass bands around the light source invites us to panache and virtuosity. The elliptical opaque glass diffuser is fixed on both sides, offering a peaceful ray of light throughout the room.
About Square in Circle
Birth of Square in Circle in 2019 in London by Alexia Sirokina. These creations are in the spirit of Gesamtkunstwerk which literally means total work of art.
The total work of art is a sumptuous aesthetic journey, a complete artistic creation that through prodigious efforts, embraces the visual, experience and performance in all types of art including painting, music, architecture, literature, interior design, furniture, silverware as well as landscape.
A particularism in the artist, which sums up his thinking in his creation, he says: "My idea was to make strong references to modernism and geometry because these are my passions."
His passion is in the spotlight.

The new series of light sculptures named Ambra combines volumes of ancient stones and aluminium. Centerpiece is the Mexican “Toba volcánica” stone that consists of minerals, glass and volcanic debris ejected one million years ago during severe eruptions. Fragments in the geometrical surfaces are testament to these explosions and movement.
The contrast between porous textures and smooth dark red underlines the studios contemporary approach on traditional materials and craft. The connecting components between the sculptural stone elements and the aluminium parts originate from an intensive research of linking unique handmade shapes with industrial parts.
