“A breath of light between earth and sky”
The Soniah Medium Floor Lamp embodies the quiet strength of nature in balance. Neither too imposing nor too discreet, it rises gracefully like a sunflower stem, poised between groundedness and upward motion. “Soniah”, Ukrainian for sunflower, inspires this luminous piece—a tribute to the earth’s rhythm and the timeless gesture of turning toward the light.
Its textured base, sculpted by hand from clay, ecological concrete, or mineral blends, echoes the raw beauty of organic matter. Topped by a refined circular shade, the lamp emits a soft, warm glow that gently envelops the space, evoking calm, presence, and introspection.
Part lighting, part sculpture, the Soniah Medium is an expression of living design—a philosophy central to Victoria Yakusha’s work, where objects are not merely decorative but soulful and rooted in cultural memory and the elemental world.
About Victoria Yakusha :

The new series of light sculptures named Ambra combines volumes of ancient stones and aluminium. Centerpiece is the Mexican “Toba volcánica” stone that consists of minerals, glass and volcanic debris ejected one million years ago during severe eruptions. Fragments in the geometrical surfaces are testament to these explosions and movement.

The contrast between porous textures and smooth dark red underlines the studios contemporary approach on traditional materials and craft. The connecting components between the sculptural stone elements and the aluminium parts originate from an intensive research of linking unique handmade shapes with industrial parts.
