Aequo Collection

Æquo was founded by Tarini Jindal Handa and creative director Florence Louisy, born from their 2019 meeting in Paris and a shared vision to address the absence of spaces dedicated to collectible design in India. The gallery bridges global creatives with India’s craft heritage, fostering new perspectives and distinctive design languages. Its name, from the Latin for “equal,” reflects the equal value placed on designer and technique. Æquo identifies and celebrates exceptional Indian artisans, often previously unknown. Each collaboration results in contemporary pieces rooted in tradition, objects destined to become the antiques of the future.
