RUDA studio, based in Odessa, Ukraine, creates unique household items inspired by natural materials and traditional artisan techniques. They modernize marquetry by using straw, collected and sorted by an 80-year-old artisan, for their creations. Each piece combines functionality, aesthetics, and respect for Ukrainian folklore while addressing environmental themes. Their works blend vintage Art Deco stylization with modern design, creating timeless objects.
