The Vis à vis collection introduces a fresh perspective to wooden outdoor furniture. Teak, designer Cazzaniga's preferred outdoor material, is natural, tactile, and exceptionally robust. When conceptualizing the Vis à vis lounger, he envisioned an outdoor setting where individuals could engage in comfortable communication. The outcome is a sunbed with grand dimensions and a convenient integrated tabletop, designed to accommodate two loungers fitting snugly together. With a flexible bed base, users have the option to recline either adjacent or facing each other.
Teak, the designer's favorite material, offers a beautiful, comfortable and soft touch and is adapted to different types of applications.
The lounge chair has been designed with the idea of creating a furniture that eases communication between people and offer them a relaxing experience. This is how the idea of an extra large lounge chair was chosen with an integrated tablet.
About of Piergiorgio Cazzaniga
The designer was born in 1946 and is part of the most re-known Italian designers on an international level. Cazzaniga comes from Lissone, the heart of the most important district of furniture and was trained into his father's workshop, where he learned the secrets of handcraft work.
He then attended industrial drawing courses at the Castello Sforzesco, directed by teachers from the Polytechnic school of Milan.

The new series of light sculptures named Ambra combines volumes of ancient stones and aluminium. Centerpiece is the Mexican “Toba volcánica” stone that consists of minerals, glass and volcanic debris ejected one million years ago during severe eruptions. Fragments in the geometrical surfaces are testament to these explosions and movement.
The contrast between porous textures and smooth dark red underlines the studios contemporary approach on traditional materials and craft. The connecting components between the sculptural stone elements and the aluminium parts originate from an intensive research of linking unique handmade shapes with industrial parts.
