The Orbit collection draws its inspiration from the original source of light — the sun — through an opalescent glass globe. Positioned at the heart of the design, this luminous sphere is delicately encased in a wire structure, evoking the elegance of planetary movements.
The Orbit pendant can be displayed as a single fixture for a minimalist effect or arranged in multiples for greater visual impact.
A-N-D is a decorative lighting design studio and manufacturer, founded in 2015 in Vancouver, Canada. The project emerged from the collaboration between Lukas Peet, a young designer with a distinctive talent, and Ciarán McGill, a creative entrepreneur passionate about manufacturing and innovation.
Lukas Peet, a 2009 graduate of the renowned Design Academy Eindhoven in the Netherlands, distinguished himself early on with his experimental and minimalist approach to design. After several years refining his aesthetic language between Europe and Canada, he decided to return to his hometown of Vancouver to develop a unique project: a studio capable of designing, producing, and assembling lighting fixtures locally, ensuring full creative control and exceptional quality.

The new series of light sculptures named Ambra combines volumes of ancient stones and aluminium. Centerpiece is the Mexican “Toba volcánica” stone that consists of minerals, glass and volcanic debris ejected one million years ago during severe eruptions. Fragments in the geometrical surfaces are testament to these explosions and movement.
The contrast between porous textures and smooth dark red underlines the studios contemporary approach on traditional materials and craft. The connecting components between the sculptural stone elements and the aluminium parts originate from an intensive research of linking unique handmade shapes with industrial parts.
